Developing a Logic Model

NORC programs undertake a variety of projects to improve the aging in place experience in/of a community. There are many moving parts to this. A logic model can be used to create a picture of how the many elements of a project—including planned activities and expected outcomes—are supposed to work together. Think of it as a road map for your project. A logic model is a useful tool that can be used not only for evaluation purposes, but for planning and program design, managing programs, improving accountability, and communicating results. This tool outlines what you need to do, why you need to do it, and how and what you need to do to measure your results.
